In August of 2019 Starbucks approached Aquent with a challenging project. They were launching their largest Starbucks Roastery in Chicago in less than four months and needed some fresh ideas for the highly anticipated grand opening launch campaign.
Aquent jumped in, assembling a stealth creative team that moved fast. In less than 100 days our team successfully delivered an effective campaign that paid homage to Chicago’s famous Magnificent Mile. The strategy was successfully rolled out across media channels and the opening event.
We are proud to report the Chicago Starbucks Roastery opening was the most successful U.S. launch to date. Woot! Woot! Since that time, the internal Roastery team at Starbucks has come to rely on Aquent for all things creative—from presentation decks to campaign strategy execution.
As we continue our partnership with Starbucks, they look to Aquent to help hone an efficient and effective creative process. Our on-demand agency model allows them to scale as needed to quickly respond to creative needs.
Starbucks featured some amazing merchandise curated by local Chicago artist, Mac Blackout. They wanted a way to share his breadth of work and unique story, and asked us to create a video that could be displayed throughout the Roastery. It provided information, generated excitement and helped increase merchandise sales exponentially.
