Uber, the world’s largest online transportation network, was about to expand its newest brand, Uber Eats from 15 to 200 cities globally in less than 12 months. They needed an agile team to not only expand capabilities for their internal creative team, but provide support to local marketing managers in each of the new cities. From translations and localization we needed to crank out hundreds of digital assets from web banners to in-app promotions to large format print media expanding the length of a bypass in Germany.
In less than a month, we provided Uber Eats with scalable creative teams in multiple hubs—San Francisco, Tokyo, Amsterdam, and Sydney—allowing for creative support at the local level in new markets.
We took ownership over brand adherence, consistency, and creative quality, freeing up the internal leadership so they could focus on the brand evolution and overall impact to Uber’s business. For internal stakeholders, the process of transitioning design,copywriting and production was seamless, with Aquent Studios’ art directors, designers, writers, animators, and producers working as a white label extension of their in-house team.
